Dashlet: Criteria Performance

What is it

The Criteria Performance Dashlet Settings page allows users to configure how performance data is displayed and compared across selected representatives and competencies. This configuration enables tailored insights into sales, support, solution, and company-level criteria. The dashlet can be customized by adjusting layout, filtering logic, comparison mode, competency focus, and training content visibility.

Glossary

  • Dashlet : A configurable dashboard widget that displays specific performance insights.
  • Criteria : Performance attributes grouped under Sales, Support, Solution, or Company categories.
  • Static Rep Filtering : Pre-selecting representatives at configuration level; users cannot change them in the widget view.
  • Dynamic Rep Filtering : Allows users to select representatives directly within the dashlet interface.
  • Competency : A defined skill or performance area (e.g., Communication, Regulatory Expertise, Strategic Partnership).
  • Comparison Setting : Option that determines whether performance is compared to org average or competitor performance.
  • Estimated Timeframe : Suggested time required to complete the linked training content.
  • Training Content Boosters : Links to relevant training materials from the Skills & Competencies module.
  • Widget Interface : The dashboard view where users interact with the configured dashlet.
  • External Link : Custom external training resource URL added by the admin.

Navigation

  1. Navigate to Dashboard.

  2. Click Add/Edit Dashlet.

  3. Select Criteria Performance Dashlet.

  4. Configure:

  • Dashlet Width & Height

  • Filters

  • Dashlet Filtering

  • Rep Selection

  • Comparison Setting

  • Competency Settings

  • Training Content Settings

  1. Click Add to Dashboard to save.

Comparison Settings

Users can select one of the following comparison modes:

1. Show Performance Compared to Org’s Average Performance

  • Benchmarks selected reps against overall organizational average.

  • Useful for internal performance tracking.

2. Show Performance When Competing with Selected Competitor

  • Displays performance in competitive scenarios.

  • Ideal for win/loss and strategic competitive analysis.

 

Show Competency setting

Controls which competencies are visible within the dashlet.

Options

Dynamic Competency Selector

  • Allows users to select competencies directly in the widget interface.

  • Best for flexible and exploratory analysis.

Selected Competency Only

  • Displays only pre-configured competencies.

  • Suitable for focused dashboards.

Competency Categories

  • Sales Performance

  • Support Attributes

  • Solution Capabilities

  • Company Attributes

Each category contains multiple measurable performance criteria.

 

Content Settings

The dashlet supports four configurable training content sections:

  1. Training Content for Performance Boosters

  2. Training Content for On-Demand Coaching

  3. Training Content for Online Courses

  4. Training Content for Role Play

Each section includes the following configuration options:

Training Section Configuration Options

1. Enable / Disable Toggle

  • Turning ON activates the training section within the dashlet.

  • Turning OFF hides it from the widget.

2. Estimated Timeframe

  • Defines the expected duration to complete the training.

  • Entered in minutes (e.g., 10 min, 20 min, 120–180 min).

  • Helps users plan learning time efficiently.

3. Help Button Text

Two options available:

  • Default – Uses system-defined help text.

  • Custom – Allows admin-defined instructional text.

This text appears as contextual guidance in the widget.

4. Included Competency Mapping

For each selected competency, admins can configure:

  • Off – No training linked to that competency.

  • TruVoice Content – Links internal Skills & Competencies module content.

  • External Link – Adds custom URL for third-party learning resources.

This allows precise alignment between performance gaps and training recommendations.

Switch Between Criteria

Users can dynamically switch across criteria categories within the dashlet:

Access the Training Content

When training sections are enabled:

  • Relevant content appears within the dashlet.

  • Users see:

    • Training type (Booster, Coaching, Course, Role Play)

    • Estimated duration

    • Linked competency-based resources

  • Clicking the link navigates to:

    • Internal TruVoice Skills & Competencies module

    • Or configured external training resource

This creates a direct connection between performance data and skill development.

Example Use Cases

  • Continuously track performance metrics and make improvements accordingly
  • Focus in on a single criterion and combine quantitative and qualitative feedback
  • Access remedial training content related to a performance gap
