In Okta Admin
- On the left nav, go to Applications -> Applications
- Click on the button “Create App Integration”
- Select SAML 2.0, click “Next”
- Fill in the app name, and optional app logo, then click “Next”
- For Single sign-on URL fill in https://trusales.primary-intel.com/auth/saml/callback
or, for TruSales Sandbox https://Trusales-sandbox.primary-intel.com/auth/saml/callback - For Audience URI (SP Entity ID), fill in urn:primaryintelligence:sp:saml-okta
- Leave other fields as default, then click “Next”
- Select “I’m an Okta customer adding an internal app”
- Select “This is an internal app that we have created”
- Click “Finish”
- You will be redirected to the Sign on settings of the newly created app
- Scroll down, Click the button “View SAML setup instructions” on the right-hand side
- You will be provided with 3 settings you need to copy to fill on the TS Side:
- Identity Provider Single Sign-on URL
- Identity Provider Issuer
- 509 Certificate
In TruSales
- In TruSales, navigate to Organization -> SAML:https://trusales.primary-intel.com/setup/organizations/saml
Note: When a user logs in via Okta, we will need the username or email from Okta that matches the username of their Salesforce instance, you may then need to do some mapping in the Configure SAML section (i.e. Name ID Format field)
