The Competitive History dashlet provides you with comprehensive insights into competitor performance and strategic positioning. It offers a graphical view of frequency, outcome, price position, top competitor strength, top competitor weakness, top performance gap. You can access this information to better understand your competitive landscape and enhance sales effectiveness.
How It Works:
Adding the Dashlet:
On the dashboard, click on Add Dashlet

Click on Insert on Competitor History
Configure the dashlet and add Filters as required
Click on Add to Dashboard
Dashlet Overview:
- Frequency: Indicates how often buyers mentioned evaluating this competitor and how often they were the strongest, shown as a percentage of all deals organization-wide.
- Outcome: Shows the outcome breakdown of deals where buyers indicated this competitor was evaluated.
- Price Position: Shows the price position breakdown of deals where buyers indicated this competitor was evaluated, including when they were the strongest.
- Top Competitor Strength: Indicates the top strength of the competitor selected.
- Top Competitor Weakness: Indicates the top weakness of the competitor selected.
- Top Performance Gap: Indicates the top performance gap with the competitor selected.
- All Competitor: To navigate to Competitor History page of the selected competitor.
- Chart View: To view data in graphical format
- Grid View: To view the data in a tabular format
- Counts: To view data in terms of counts
- Amounts: To view data in terms of amounts
Dashlet Settings:
- Dashlet Title: To set any custom title for the dashlet. It is set to "Competitor History" by default.
- Dashlet Subtitle: To set any custom subtitle for the dashlet.
- Dashlet Width: To set the width of the dashlet. "Medium" is the default dashlet width.
- Dashlet Height: To set the height of the dashlet. "Small" is the default dashlet width.
- Filters: To set filters for viewing data set reflecting any particular set of conditions, time period, etc.
- Competitor: To set the competitor related to which the data should be shown in the dashlet.
- Remove Dashlet: To delete the dashlet and remove it from Dashboard.
- Cancel: To close the settings pop-up and cancel any changes made. Data will stay the same as before.
- Save: To save the changes made and close the pop-up. Data will refresh as per the changes made.
Dashlet Actions:
- Help: To navigate to helpdesk document.
- Edit: To edit the details with dashlet, like title, competitor, filters, etc.
- Remove: To delete the dashlet.
- Export to Excel: To export the data shown in the dashlet into an excel file for sharing.
