The Opportunity Close Date Integration setup enables administrators to configure which date field from the Opportunity object in your CRM instance is used as the close date in TruSales. This critical mapping ensures that opportunity timelines, forecasting, and reporting are based on the correct date field, supporting accurate sales cycle analysis and performance metrics.

How It Works

The interface displays a comprehensive table of available date fields from the Opportunity object in your CRM system. Administrators can select one date field to designate as the close date field using a radio button interface. The standard Close Date field is automatically included as the default option when available.

When a field is selected and saved, TruSales synchronizes the close date data across all opportunities, which may trigger updates to opportunity close date history logs. The system provides a confirmation modal warning about potential history log updates before applying changes, ensuring administrators understand the impact of field mapping changes.
