Feature Overview
The Active Sales Stages setup enables administrators to define which sales stages from your CRM are included in conversion rate calculations throughout TruSales. This critical setup categorizes sales stages into Early Stages, Late Stages, and Exclude Stages, allowing organizations to customize how conversion rates are calculated based on their sales process.
How It Works
The interface displays a comprehensive table of all active sales stages from your CRM system, organized into three main categories:
- Early Stages: Sales stages that represent the beginning of the sales process. These stages are included in conversion rate calculations as the starting point for measuring sales progression.
- Late Stages: Sales stages that represent the final phases of the sales process. These stages are included in conversion rate calculations as the target outcomes for measuring sales success.
- Exclude Stages: Sales stages that should be completely excluded from all conversion rate calculations and TruSales views.
Administrators can drag and drop stages between categories to reorganize them, and also toggle individual stages to skip conversion calculations while keeping them in their assigned category. The system maintains the original CRM stage order and provides visual indicators for stages that are excluded or skipped.
Use Cases
- For Admins: Configure conversion rate calculations to match organizational sales methodologies, ensuring accurate pipeline analysis and forecasting based on relevant sales stages.
- For Sales Managers: Define which stages represent meaningful progression in the sales process for accurate conversion tracking and team performance metrics.
- For Forecasting Teams: Ensure conversion rates are calculated using only the stages that represent actual sales progression, providing more accurate forecast models.
