TruSales > Organization Settings > Conversion Rate Setup

  • Updated

Feature Overview

The Conversion Rate setup enables administrators to define which sales stages are included in conversion rate calculations throughout TruSales. This configuration categorizes sales stages into Early Stages, Late Stages, and Exclude Stages, allowing organizations to customize how conversion rates are calculated based on their specific sales process and methodology, ensuring accurate pipeline analysis and performance metrics.

How It Works

The Conversion Rate Setup interface displays all active sales stages from your CRM system in a drag-and-drop table organized into three categories:

  • Early Stages: Sales stages that represent the beginning of the sales process. These stages serve as the starting point for measuring sales progression and conversion rates.
  • Late Stages: Sales stages that represent the final phases of the sales process. These stages serve as the target outcomes for measuring sales success and completion rates.
  • Exclude Stages: Sales stages that are completely excluded from all conversion rate calculations and TruSales views. These stages are not considered in any pipeline analysis or performance metrics.

Administrators can drag and drop stages between categories to reorganize them according to their sales methodology. Additionally, individual stages can be toggled to skip conversion calculations while remaining in their assigned category. The system maintains the original CRM stage order and provides visual indicators for excluded or skipped stages.

Use Cases

  • For Admins: Configure conversion rate calculations and stage categorization to match organizational sales methodologies and business intelligence requirements, ensuring accurate pipeline analysis, forecasting, and reporting standards based on relevant sales stages.
