Feature Overview
The individual Summary Email set enables administrators to define detailed settings for automated feedback submission notifications. This comprehensive configuration page allows organizations to configure summary triggers, email content, recipient settings, and delivery conditions to create targeted notification workflows that keep stakeholders informed about the feedback collection progress.
How It Works
The summary email detail page provides a tabbed interface for configuring all aspects of automated summary delivery:
- Basic Settings:
- Summary Email Label: A descriptive name for this summary configuration (e.g., "Enterprise Deal Summary", "SMB Feedback Notifications")
- Summary Emails: Enable/disable toggle to activate or deactivate this summary automation
- Survey Collector: Select the TruVoice survey collector that summaries are associated with
- Sender and Recipients Tab: Configure who sends summary emails and who receives them:
- Send As: Choose between organization admin or opportunity/account owner as the sender
- Custom Sender Conditions: Field-based rules for sender selection when using dynamic senders
- Email Recipients: Define who receives summary notifications (sales managers, customer success teams, etc.)
- CC Recipients: Additional team members or stakeholders to include on summary emails
- Email Content Tab: Customize the summary email appearance and messaging:
- Email Subject: Configurable subject line with token support for dynamic content
- Email Body: Rich text editor for summary message content with merge tokens
- Email Templates: Pre-built templates optimized for different summary scenarios
- Branding: Organization logo and styling options for professional appearance
- Trigger Conditions Tab: Define which opportunities/accounts trigger summary emails using CRM field filters:
- Owner Status: Whether to send summaries for opportunities/accounts where owners are enabled/disabled
- Opportunity/Account Status: Specific stages or criteria that trigger summary notifications
- Custom Filters: Additional CRM field conditions using the search interface
The interface includes form validation, unsaved changes warnings, and test email functionality to ensure summaries work as expected before deployment. A change log in the footer allows administrators to view previous versions of the summary settings, providing a helpful way to review what changes were made over time.
