Feature Overview
The individual Exclusion Alert setup enables administrators to define detailed settings for automated notifications about opportunity exclusions from feedback requests. This comprehensive configuration page allows organizations to configure alert triggers, email content, recipient settings, and delivery conditions to create targeted notification workflows that keep stakeholders informed about feedback exclusion activities.
How It Works
The exclusion alert detail page provides a tabbed interface for configuring all aspects of automated exclusion notifications:
- Basic Settings:
- Exclusion Alert Label: A descriptive name for this alert configuration (e.g., "Enterprise Opportunity Exclusions", "High-Value Deal Exclusions")
- Exclusion Alerts: Enable/disable toggle to activate or deactivate this alert automation
- Survey Collector: Select the TruVoice survey collector that alerts are associated with
- Sender and Recipients Tab: Configure who sends exclusion alerts and who receives them:
- Send As: Choose between organization admin or opportunity owner as the sender
- Custom Sender Conditions: Field-based rules for sender selection when using dynamic senders
- Email Recipients: Define who receives exclusion notifications (sales managers, Sales and Revenue Operations, etc.)
- CC Recipients: Additional team members or stakeholders to include on exclusion alerts
- Email Content Tab: Customize the exclusion alert email appearance and messaging:
- Email Subject: Configurable subject line with token support for dynamic content
- Email Body: Rich text editor for exclusion alert message content with merge tokens
- Email Templates: Pre-built templates optimized for different exclusion scenarios
- Branding: Organization logo and styling options for professional appearance
- Field and Value Triggers Tab: Define which opportunity exclusions trigger alerts using CRM field filters:
- Owner Status: Whether to send alerts for opportunities where owners are enabled/disabled
- Opportunity Status: Specific stages or criteria that trigger exclusion notifications
- Custom Filters: Additional CRM field conditions using the search interface
The interface includes form validation, unsaved changes warnings, and test email functionality to ensure exclusion alerts work as expected before deployment. A dropdown menu in the footer allows administrators to 100view previous versions of the alert settings, providing a helpful way to review what changes were made overtime.
