Feature Overview

The Feedback Request Modify Controls setup enables administrators to customize user permissions and system behaviors for the feedback request module. This settings page allows organizations to control how sales representatives interact with feedback requests, manage contact data, and configure system-wide restrictions to align with organizational policies and compliance requirements.

How It Works

The Modify Controls interface provides a centralized panel for configuring various feedback request behaviors and user permissions. Each setting includes detailed help text explaining the impact of each configuration.

  • Email Editing Permissions:
    • Allow Email Editing: Controls whether sales representatives can modify email content and subject lines when sending feedback requests, enabling customization while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Contact Management:
    • Add Contacts to CRM: Determines if users can add new contacts directly to the CRM system during feedback request processes, with permission validation warnings.
    • Allow Primary Opportunity Contact Setting: When contact addition is enabled, controls whether users can designate contacts as primary opportunity contacts.
    • Smart Account Ids: Automatically assigns opportunity account IDs to contacts missing account associations, ensuring data completeness for feedback submissions.
  • System Restrictions:
    • Allow Manual Override of Collector Setting: Permits users to bypass survey collector contact submission restrictions for flexibility in specific scenarios.
    • Restrict Manual Feedback Requests: Limits feedback requests to only opportunities matching automation trigger conditions, enforcing standardized feedback collection processes.
