The TruVoice Tags setup enables administrators to configure CRM fields that will automatically create tags in TruVoice when opportunities, accounts, or contacts are submitted for feedback requests. This feature enhances feedback analysis by allowing organizations to categorize and filter feedback data based on CRM field values, providing deeper insights into customer sentiment across different segments, products, or business criteria.
What are TruVoice Tags?
TruVoice tags are metadata labels automatically applied to feedback data. These tags serve as powerful filtering and segmentation tools that enable organizations to categorize feedback
How It Works
The system provides a tabbed interface for managing tags across three data sources: opportunities, accounts, and contacts. Administrators can add CRM fields that will be used as tags, with support for picklist, multipicklist, string, and reference field types. Once configured, these fields automatically generate tags when items are submitted to TruVoice collectors. The interface includes visual indicators for field accessibility, search tools for large field catalogs, and a modal workflow that can retroactively apply tags to previously submitted records.
- Tag Creation Process:
- Field Selection: Choose CRM fields containing values that will become meaningful tags (e.g., Product Line, Region, Deal Size)
- Automatic Tagging: When opportunities/accounts/contacts are submitted to TruVoice, the system reads the configured field values
- Tag Application: Field values are automatically converted to tags and attached to the feedback data
- Filtering & Analysis: Tags can be used in TruVoice to filter, group, and analyze feedback patterns
