Feature Overview

The Update TruVoice Data setup enables administrators to synchronize previously submitted opportunities and accounts in TruVoice with the latest CRM data. This feature ensures that TruVoice maintains accurate and up-to-date information for opportunities that have already been submitted for feedback collection, including sales stage histories, ownership changes, and custom field updates.

How It Works

The system provides a streamlined interface for updating TruVoice data across all configured collectors. When initiated, the process:

  1. Stage Synchronization: Updates TruVoice with the latest sales stage definitions and classifications from your CRM
  2. Opportunity Updates: For each previously submitted opportunity with a valid CRM Opportunity ID, updates the following data in TruVoice:
    • Complete sales stage history with timestamps
    • Original outcome (preserved separately from buyer feedback outcomes)
    • Opportunity creation and close dates
    • Current sales representative (opportunity owner)
    • Current account manager (account owner)
    • All configured custom fields
  3. Contact Updates: Updates contact information and custom fields for submitted contacts
  4. Progress Tracking: Provides real-time progress updates for each collector being processed

The process runs asynchronously and can handle large volumes of data across multiple TruVoice collectors simultaneously.

Progress indicators show the status for each collector, and administrators can drill into any failed updates via inline notifications, ensuring follow-up is targeted and efficient.

  • For Admins: Keep TruVoice data synchronized when CRM information changes after initial submission, and maintain data integrity across systems when ownership changes, stage definitions are updated, or custom fields are modified, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis.
