Feature Overview

The Sync Notification Settings setup enables administrators to configure automated email notifications for data synchronization activities. This feature provides visibility into sync operations by sending summary reports after successful syncs, alerting administrators when CRM field access issues occur, and notifying when integration authentication tokens may need renewal. These notifications help maintain data integrity and ensure timely intervention when sync problems arise.

How It Works

The system monitors sync operations and sends targeted notifications based on configured settings:

  • Enable Sync Notification: The main toggle that controls whether sync statistics emails are sent after each data synchronization. When enabled, administrators receive summary reports with key metrics about sync  performance and activity.
  • Sync Statistics Emails: When the main toggle is enabled, automatically sends summary emails after each data sync completion, including metrics on opportunities updated, feedback requests submitted, reminder emails sent, and total sync duration. 
  • Enable Missing Field Errors Reporting: A toggle that activates monitoring for CRM field accessibility issues. When enabled, the system checks for invalid or inaccessible fields during sync operations and sends detailed error reports to help prevent data sync failures.
  • Enable Expired Sync Token Reporting: A toggle that enables tracking of integration user authentication status. When enabled, the system monitors user login activity and sends notifications when integration users haven't logged in for the specified period or when authentication tokens expire, ensuring continuous data synchronization.

Notification Recipients Configuration:

  • Send to Organization Admins: Checkbox to include all organization administrators in notification emails
  • Send to Organization Managers: Checkbox to include all organization managers in notification emails
  • Send to TruVoice Support: Checkbox to include TruVoice support staff for technical assistance and monitoring
  • Additional Recipients: Autocomplete field to add custom email addresses or user accounts for notifications
