Custom Content Dashlet

What is it?

Custom Content in TruVoice is a feature that allows users to upload various types of files, such as PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and potentially video files, to a single dashboard. This feature provides users with the ability to add, manage, and share content within the platform.

Glossary

  • Dashlet: A self-contained data visualization that is accessible on the homepage dashboard of TruVoice.
  • Manage Permission: A permission level that grants users the ability to add and manage content within role-based dashboards.

  • Centralized Content Management: Users can upload and manage various types of files from different sources in one central location.
  • Easy Sharing: Uploaded content can be shared with specific recipients or made generally available to users within the platform.
  • Tagging and Restrictions: Users can tag content for easy searchability and apply restrictions to limit access to specific users if necessary.

Navigation

To access Custom Content in TruVoice, users with the appropriate permissions can navigate to the dashboard and utilize the "Add" button to upload files. They can then tag the content for organization and apply restrictions based on user access needs.

 

Adding Content

By default the dashlet will be blank unless you or another user has added content. You will only see other users' content if they give you permission. To add content, click the "Add" button.

Types of content

You are able to add content by dragging or clicking "select files". The formats accepted are clearly shown.

Adding to Large Language Model

You have the option to add to AI Training. All content that goes into TruVoice is eligible to contribute to the TruVoice LLM (Large Language Model) for your specific account (i.e. other TruVoice client will not see it). This is all centered on powering the Ask TruVoice dashlet. If you do not want your content to contribute to the LLM, click the toggle to remove the check/tick mark.

Applying Restrictions

When creating content your have the option to apply restrictions around who can access it. Simply use the restriction options

Tagging content

Users have the ability to add tags which contribute to searching of the content

Example Use Cases

  • Trend Reports: Users can upload trend reports or analytical documents generated outside of TruVoice and make them available to recipients within the platform.
  • Document Sharing: Any document relevant to a user's program or project can be uploaded and shared within TruVoice for easy access by team members.
  • Integration with AI Models: Content uploaded to Custom Content can potentially be utilized as a data source for AI training, enhancing the platform's AI capabilities.
  • Support for Competencies and Competitor Analysis: Custom Content can serve as a repository for documents related to competencies or competitor analysis, potentially facilitating nudges or recommendations based on user proficiency or needs.
