Navigation
Users can access the role-based dashboard on the homepage screen of the TruVoice platform. An array of recommended role-specific dashlets are provided for each role by default which a user can add to and customize. Dashlets contain unique functionality, controls, hover states, and links to delve more deeply into the data that feeds the summary view. To create an optimal display, dashlets can be dragged and dropped, and their size can be controlled in their settings window.
Located in the top-right corner, the Add Dashlet button opens a window where users can add additional dashlets to their role-based dashboard. Note: Available dashlets may vary based on user role and system availability.
Dashlet Settings.
When adding or editing a dashlet, users can access Dashlet Settings to further customize it. Common options include title, subtitle, width, and height, along with dashlet-specific settings that control the unique behavior of each dashlet. These powerful options help users tailor the dashlet to surface the most relevant insights.
Remember: It may be desirable to have more than one instance on your dashboard of a given dashlet type because versions may feature different customizations (e.g. customized for insights on different products, or performance data per team/department).
The Dashlet Settings window can also be opened by clicking the three-dot menu on any dashlet and selecting Edit. This lets you update the dashlet’s format, appearance, and fine-tune the insights it provides. The menu also includes options to remove the dashlet or access Dashlet Help for the relevant help article.
